PE Days
PE in Reception is on a Thursday. Please make sure that your child wears their PE kit to school on these days. Our PE kit is plain black shorts, leggings or joggers; plain white or school PE t-shirt; school jumper.
Homework
Phonics and maths homework will be given out on a Friday. The children can practise writing and saying the taught sounds for that week as well as attempting the maths challenge.
When your child receives a reading book please support your child at home by reading 5 x a week for at least 10 minutes.
Useful Information
To ensure your child is ready to learn, please provide them with a labelled bottle of water everyday. A healthy snack of fruit or vegetables is provided by the school.
Forest school will be on Friday afternoons, weather permitting, for Term 2. A pair of wellie boots would be useful.
Every week a class newsletter will be sent via Tapestry.
