Year 3 have been busy this morning measuring different items in the classroom. I was really proud of how the children displayed such excellent teamwork.
We got up close and personal to some wonderful farm animals today at Court Farm Country Park. Not only did we see new born lambs, help feed the friendly cows but also watched farmer Pete milk a cow! The falling snow added to this magical experience and I am sure the children will remember this trip for a very long time.
Life bus
We loved our first ever experience on the Life Bus today. We looked at how to keep healthy and happy. Hope you enjoy the photos.
Reception children have had a fantastic start to school life! They have settled in brilliantly to school routines and have been busy having fun with their learning. The children voted to change our class story from Owl Babies to Hedgehog Babies so we made hedgehogs out of salt dough and made hedgehog bread!
We hope you like the pictures.
The children discover a crash landing with clues that aliens have landed in our school. We read the story The Aliens Are Coming! The children created fabulous posters and presented their ideas on how to scare the aliens away, such as, make a trap, make scary masks and dazzle them with lots of camera flashes.

A huge congratulations to an enthusiastic group of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children who travelled to St Bede’s to compete in a Cross Country event this evening. Despite there being approximately 70-80 children per race, each and every one of them persevered and encouraged each other to complete it to the best of their ability. A special mention to one of our Year 5 pupils who came a fantastic third place, earning them entry to represent North Bristol in the finals on Sunday 20th November! A big well done to all who participated! Go Stoke Park!
