Spreading joy ❤️

After school, our brilliant staff team added to their marathon miles by running through Lockleaze spreading joy to all our wonderful home learners, who have all been so fantastic this term.

Tune in to ITV news at 6pm tonight to find out more about what we’ve been up to.

Goats at Stoke Park

Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 key worker group visited Stoke Park to meet the goats that are currently residing there. Mrs Annear, who is a goat expert, joined them to answer all their questions. We would really recommend taking a wander over to see them if you haven’t done so already. They are by the BT Tower.

Marathon Month support

Yesterday, we were thrilled to see that England and British Lions rugby player, Maro Itoje, tweeted his support for our Marathon Month. How exciting! Keep up the good work Team Stoke Park!

Marathon Month

Yesterday saw the launch of our whole school community Marathon Month. The staff and children of Stoke Park have set themselves a challenge of running the equivalent of a marathon across the course of the month. We know how important fresh air and exercise is for our mental health, particularly during these uncertain times, and we want to achieve something collectively we can all be proud of. We are also raising money through sponsorship so we are better able to support children with remote learning who may not have access to devices.

We will be sending out our ‘Marathon Mascots’ twice weekly to run the streets of Lockleaze so please do look out for them and give them a wave.
