Yesterday, our Year 5 and 6 key worker group visited Stoke Park to meet the goats that are currently residing there. Mrs Annear, who is a goat expert, joined them to answer all their questions. We would really recommend taking a wander over to see them if you haven’t done so already. They are by the BT Tower.
Yesterday saw the launch of our whole school community Marathon Month. The staff and children of Stoke Park have set themselves a challenge of running the equivalent of a marathon across the course of the month. We know how important fresh air and exercise is for our mental health, particularly during these uncertain times, and we want to achieve something collectively we can all be proud of. We are also raising money through sponsorship so we are better able to support children with remote learning who may not have access to devices.
We will be sending out our ‘Marathon Mascots’ twice weekly to run the streets of Lockleaze so please do look out for them and give them a wave.

Our school community have completed our Marathon Month and raised over £6000!! We are so thankful for all the support. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting our trainers on, getting outside and spreading some joy to our local community.
