Hazel Class Pen Pals

The Pen Pal scheme in Year 1 is well underway. Children that have already been paired up are busy writing messages and receiving notes from friends in their class. Parents of children involved have told me they have really enjoyed this activity and are very excited when their letters comes through. If you would like to take part, contact me at sppsyear1@cathedralschoolstrust.org and I will do my best to find you a partner. I will be a virtual postman throughout this, so you don’t need to worry about stamps or envelopes. Its a wonderful way to stay in touch with classmates!

We The Curious at home!

We The Curious are still open…digitally! They have released different “Do Try This At Home” experiments that stimulate curiosity led learning and explore curriculum based learning in a playful way. All of their experiments are accessible and use items commonly found at home. Can you try one of these and become a Brunel (spaghetti!) bridge engineer or a Mary Annings rock and fossil detector? Click on the links below to give them a go! Don’t forget to email your amazing “Do Try This At Home” experiments to Miss Donoghue on sppsyear3@cathedralschoolstrust.org
