Practical Maths ideas in Year 1

Class pages are being updated all the time. In Year 1, each day there are practical Maths activities for you to try at home that link to the day’s learning from White Rose. Tomorrow’s learning asks us to find a quarter, so why not try doing this with your sandwich at lunch time, or by folding pieces of paper? Sometimes there are links to songs and stories which will also help to consolidate the learning. Keep checking the Hazel Class page for new updates, ideas and pictures of your learning too:

If you’re feeling a bit worried, try talking to somebody in your family – they might be able to help. Mrs Spence is also uploading videos with tips about how we can manage emotions like these.
