The children loved learning all about Nigeria yesterday when cultural ambassadors visited us from the University of the West of England. We looked at traditional foods, customs and music. Take a look at some of the activities!
Our happy campers have had another fun packed day! Today they put their fears to one side and climbed the high ropes. They have also been mountain biking amongst other activities. Miss Simmonds has been impressed with how encouraging and supportive they have been to one another. Looks like they’re having a wonderful time!
Great fun was had by all at our KS1 sports day yesterday. Thank you so much to all of the parents/siblings/family members/friends who came along yesterday to support the children, they had a fantastic time. Well done to all who took part in the adult races too, what a fantastic example to set to the children!
After coming first in the Bristol regional competition for gymnastics, Zante, Ellie-May, Kayley, Ricky and Liam qualified for the West of England Summer Games finals. This took place at Bath University today where they competed against 7 other schools on spring board and floor.
They executed their routines with precision, confidence and to a very high standard. They managed to finish in a very impressive third place with bronze medals.
We are extremely proud of their achievement and the professionalism they showed whilst representing Stoke Park. Well done!
Full of excitement, our Year 6 children set off this morning on their residential camp.
They arrived safely and have already taken part in some bushcraft and circus skills this afternoon. We will hopefully be able to post some pictures of the children in action tomorrow!
Hope all the parents aren’t missing them too much!
